Hello, my name is Nora Lorena Castro. I was born in Los Angeles California on December 7, 1984. According to my mother, it was a beautiful Monday morning when she went to the doctor’s office for a regular check-up. Unfortunately, the doctor requested for her to stay until I was born, which wasn’t until Friday morning. That’s me, a true procrastinator through and through. I am currently a Special Education Assistant at the San Diego High School of Arts and I love my job. I graduated from San Diego State University in May of 2012 with a BA in English for teachers. Now, I am studying at the University of San Diego to get my teaching credential and my MA in education.
